Black Friday: All the best deals this afternoon and where you can find them. Super-shopping day Black Friday is in full swing with millions of Britons currently bargain hunting online and in store for everything from discounted Dysons to cut-price Le Creuset, fashion, tech and toys.

Shoppers are due to go on a record £1.97 billion spending spree over the next 24 hours as high street retailers offer bargains in the battle for Christmas spenders who are facing the threat of steep price hikes in the New Year in the wake of the pound's post-referendum slump.

Almost all of the high street's biggest names are embracing the US import, with some such as Tesco and John Lewis offering extended opening hours. Even Apple is on board, after giving the sales day a miss last year.

Early indications show that many retailers, including Carphone Warehouse, are seeing the highest ever number of orders made via mobile phone, signifying a shift in the way customers shop on Black Friday.
